1. Purpose of the service

Who Called Australia helps you make sense of calls from unknown numbers. It is based on the official numbering data of the ACMA register and on moderated community reports. The site is not a credit-check register and does not identify people.

2. Community content

Ratings and reports are the personal opinions of the people who submitted them — not statements of fact by the site operator, and not a basis for identity, credit or other checks on people. Prohibited in particular: abuse, third parties' personal details (full names, addresses), fabricated accusations and advertising. Moderation may reject, shorten or withdraw content.

3. Official data

Register data (prefixes, mobile and smartnumber ranges, geographic allocations) comes from the register operated for the ACMA and describes the allocation of numbering space, not its current users. Numbers may have been ported to another network and caller ID can be spoofed. The official register publications prevail.

4. Liability

We work to keep information current and correct, but we don't guarantee the truth of community reports or the completeness of our replicas of official data. Decisions you make (calling back, paying, cancelling a contract) remain your responsibility.

5. Disputes and removal

Anyone affected by published content can dispute it via the Data removal and disputes page. Confirmed removals are documented permanently and cannot be undone by automatic data imports.
